Beware of Fake SMS Companies offering Very Cheap SMS!
We wanted to make a sincere appeal to all our beloved Customers not to fall in for such cheap tricks played by few people. All these strategies are nothing but a Trap to get customers. Most of these so called companies are Single Men companies and few are even established companies that are catching weak point of customers by playing the trick of cheap SMS Service.
The Fact that we need to admit
As you are all well aware that there is a Termination charge of 5 Paisa +Tax on each promotional SMS, set by TRAI from 25th October 2011 (Please Click Here to Know More). As per which, every out going SMS will be charged at almost 5.6 Paisa + SMS charge. This cannot be escaped by any Indian Network operator.
When the basic cost itself is 5.6 paisa per SMS, How can they offer at less price?
There are few unfair methods of offering cheap SMS Services.
SMS Submissions Cut off:
If you have brought 1 Lac SMS at 4 Paisa per SMS, you would have 1 lac SMS in your account, but when you actually push them, out of 100 only 40-50% will be submitted for Delivery. Which means your cost of SMS will be more than 10 Paisa per SMS. With more possibilities in the technology you will be provided with false delivery reports.
Pushing from Transactional Gateway:
Another way of offering cheap SMS is using Termination Charge Free “Transactional SMS” gateway that is supposed to be used for Non Promotional Activities. However, it is an illegal method of operation strictly blocked by All Network operators and that may also put you in Legal risks.
But, still some people may have few queries as follows,
